Overview
Sterile gauze is the workhorse of wound dressing: absorbent, breathable cotton, sterilised and sealed so it can be applied straight to a wound. Quirmex sterilises and packs gauze pads to the Mexican Pharmacopoeia under validated processes.
The line includes 10×10 cm pads in standard and closed (tight) weave, and 7.5×5 cm pads, with consistent thread count and absorbency. Closed-weave versions reduce lint for sensitive applications.
Each pack is sealed for sterility and labelled with lot and expiry, with certificates of analysis available per batch.

How is the gauze sterilised and packed?
Sterilised under validated processes and individually sealed, with lot number and expiry date marked; certificates of analysis are available per batch.
What is the difference between open and closed weave?
Closed (tight) weave has a higher thread count, reducing lint and shedding for more sensitive wounds; open weave maximises absorbency and breathability.
Can pads be packed to our private label?
